Welcome to the Cronulla RSL Table Tennis Club web site! This site is for general viewing but membership is restricted to past and present Table Tennis Club members.
The Cronulla RSL Table Tennis Club is a "sub club" of the Cronulla RSL Memorial Club.
We have two tables and meet every Thursday from 7:15pm onwards in the downstairs area of the Cronulla RSL club. We run a handicap competition each night, except for a few nights of the year, being our singles and doubles championship nights. Our members are both male and female.
Our members come from a wide variety of ages and standards, from the very beginner to seasoned A grade competition players. The handicap system gives all players a chance to win each match, regardless of the standard of competitor they are up against.
Prizes are awarded for various categories:
- Singles champion A, B & C grades (11 champions, R. Forrester(11), I. Reeves (11), G. Papadeas (11)
- Doubles champions (11 - R. Forrester & M. Hereud)
- Ladies champion (11, C. Power )
- Annual points score singles & doubles (10/11 - G. Costanzo, K. Davis)
- Most improved ( 10/11 - G. Papadeas)
- Monthly pointscore
- Club person (10/11 - Janet Kent)
All Cronulla RSL Club members and visitors are welcome, providing you register for play before 7:30pm.
Membership to the Table Tennis Club is available to all Cronulla RSL Memorial Club members. The Table Tennis Club joining cost is $6 per Annum (due from 1st week of April each year) and $4 each playing night. Alternatively, you can pay a lump sum fee of $60 and there are no further costs for the year.
Non Table Tennis Club members can play provided that they pay $5 a night, for a maximum of three nights in any one year. Visitors may play only three times and after that they would be required to join the club. |
